Maricel Soriano Returns After the "Maid Abuse" Controversy
There is always rainbow after the rain with the Diamond Star Maricel Soriano.
After the much publicized controversy involving Maricel in a domestic violence with her two househelp, she is back on limelight through Regal Film's Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2011 entry "Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow" opposite Gabby Concepcion.
Maricel describes her role in the movie as "I'm the wife of Gabby... si Gary siya rito sa pelikula. Ako si Mariel. May anak kami sa pelikula, pero sa opening pa lang ng film, nagkahiwalay kaming dalawa. Medyo successful ako dito na babae, pero divorced na. Ako ang sa umpisa ang dating parang mataray, pero actually, ako yung... Nasaktan kasi siya.

Joining Maricel and Gabby in the movie are this season's new breed of in-demand young stars like Jericho Rosales, lovi Poe, Carla Abellana, Solenn Heussaff, Paulo Avelino, Eula Caballero and Dennis Trillo.
Maricel was last seen in Star Cinema horror film T2 (Tenement 2) in 2009.
