Sad to say, Bonifacio Day is still on a Wednesday, which means, no more long weekend holiday this November.
As announced by Deputy Presidential Spokesperson Abigail Valte, Andres Bonifacio Day which falls on November 30, Wednesday, will not be moved on a Monday to give way to a long weekend.
Valte cited Proclamation No. 84 which states Bonifacio Day as a regular holiday, �I think it won�t be transferred to another date. When I checked the Presidential Proclamation on holidays, the celebration would really be on November 30,� she said.
