Gretchen Barretto Talks About Claudine Barretto, Angelica Panganiban and KC Concepcion
Being the La-Greta that she is, Gretchen Barretto who recently won her third consecutive Best Actress award for her performance in ABS-CBN defunct soap "Magkaribal" at the 25th Star Awards For Television ng Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) on November 22, can't help but to express her reactions on the different controversies sorrounding the three closest women in their life right now.
First, her sister Claudine Barretto. Although they had a series of misunderstanding in the past, Gretchen, who again is in good terms with her sister, was asked about the undying issue of separation, infidelity and money matters between Claudine and husband Raymart Santiago.
"I'm not about to talk about her personal problems." Gretchen started sharing the press before the start of PMPC Star Awards at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Resorts World.
"At yun din ang pinag-usapan namin - na kailangang respetuhin ko kung ano yung mga pinagdadaanan niya. So, kung ano yung gusto niyang i-divulge, gagawin niya yun on her own because Claudine is an adult. Hindi naman siya bata na kailangang ipagtanggol ko, kaya na niya." she explained.
On Angelica Panganiban. Their past rift and word war have already been put in the grave. In fact, they are now both working comfortably and wish to establish a friendship while doing ABS-CBN's upcoming primetime soap "Alta" with KC Concepcion, Luis Manzano, Zanjoe Marudo, and Diether Ocampo.
"Wala kaming choice. Okay na okay na, kasi nagkausap na kami so nalabas na namin �yung reluctance namin. Nakilala ko si Angelica in a deeper way." she said.
Lastly, her other Alta co-star KC Concepcion who recently rumored to have been a huge relationship trouble with Kapamilya's prime asset Piolo Pascual.
"Feeling ko, kung anuman ang pinagdadaanan niya, kaya niya, e. And it's part of her journey in life.
"I see her strength.
"You know, she's really a good person inside. So I wish her to just enjoy life. Be honest. Be true to herself. And go for it... whatever it is." she said of KC.
