Scantily Clad Rihanna Heats Up Parade in Barbados

Rihanna gets provocative as Rihanna embraces the festive air in her hometown of Barbados. On Monday, August 1, the "Only Girl (In the World)" hitmaker took part in the annual Kadooment Day parade, and hit the streets in a barely there, sequined bikini and fishnet stockings. Rihanna also wore bright red feathered headdress to compete her attire.


During the parade, the 23-year-old singer rode on a float and blew kisses to the crowd. At one point Rihanna was seen bending over and dancing with a fan who came up behind her. Seemingly having fun Rihanna didn't appear to be bothered when the rain started to fall. In fact Rihanna was spotted running in the street and giggling with her friends.

Riri arrived back in Barbados over the weekend. Rihanna recently wrapped up the North American leg of her Loud tour. Soon after Rihanna arrived Rihanna took to Twitter and wrote, "My home, my country, my people....BARBADOS!!! #1LOVE #SWEETfahDAYS NOTHIN' BETTER! #RihannaNavy Miss u guys tho."

Kadooment Day is the official final celebration of the Crop Over Festival season. It is explained in Barbados.org that its origins "can be traced back to the 1780's, a time when Barbados was the world's largest producer of sugar. At the end of the sugar season, there was always a huge celebration to mark the culmination of another successful sugar cane harvest.

"Chris Brown and Rihanna, if I was your friend, I would call you up and I would say, Give it some time, get yourself some counseling, take care of yourself. Heal yourself first… And also, love doesn’t hurt. I’ve been saying this to women for years...Lve doesn't hurt. If a man hits you once, he will hit you again."

Now it can be told: Rihanna and Chris Brown decided to chill out at Alchemy’s Vapor Club (at Silver City, Frontera Verde Drive corner Julia Vargas Ave., Pasig City) after their concert last Nov. 16 at The Bonifacio Global City Open Field, whisked off in black limousines and escorted by big bouncers as they entered through the back entrance.

It wasn’t a secret, though. The night before, Brown’s manager visited Alchemy to negotiate for a post-concert party and Brown kept mentioning it during the concert.

According to the Funfare DPA, Brown and Rihanna enjoyed the drinks and the hors d‘ oeuvres, plus the music, for more than two hours.

“There was a mild showdown between Brown’s dancers and Rihanna’s performer,” added the DPA. “Could it have been caused by an attractive woman who came from neither of the two groups?”

Also at Alchemy that same night was American Idol Season 7 finalist Michael Johns.

Check out Rihanna’s new commercial for Gucci!

Gucci creative director Frida Giannini has said, “I wanted Rihanna on board with this project because she’s so young, so modern, and so iconic.”

Rihanna adds, “I have always been a fan of the Gucci brand and the products, especially their handbags. But most of all, I’m very very intrigued by what they’re doing with UNICEF. As an artist, I feel like it’s our duty to make it a better place if we can. I’m blown away by what UNICEF has been able to accomplish in Africa with the money that Gucci has donated to them. I’m very fortunate to be part of this wonderful collaboration.”

25% of all handbag proceeds from the “Tattoo Heart Collection” will benefit UNICEF.
