ABS-CBN Maintains Its Lead in Metro Manila, Mega Manila and National TV Ratings from June 1 -14

Nanguna ang ABS-CBN Corporation sa National, Mega Manila at Metro Manila TV ratings sa isinagawang survey ng Kantar Media (dating Taylor Nelson Sofres o TNS) from June 1 -14, 2010.


Nakakuha ang ABS-CBN ng average national audience share na 44% laban sa 30% ng GMA.

Winner din ang ABS-CBN sa Mega Manila nakuha nitong 35% audience share. Makikitang pataas ang audience share ng ABS-CBN mula 35.2% noong June 2009, samantalang bumagsak naman ang GMA ng 7 points mula sa audience share nilang 40% noong June din of last year.

Malaki rin ang lamang ng ABS-CBN sa Metro Manila households sa audience share na 38% vs GMA na may 30%.

Samantala, 14 out of overall Top 20 programs na pinalabas nationwide from June 1 -14 ay mula sa ABS-CBN.

Wala pa ring makatalo sa number one teleserye na Agua Bendita (39.5%) habang maganda naman ang start ng bagong Kapamilya soap na Momay na nasa 9th place with 25.7% ratings.

Leading din tuwing weekend ang Pilipinas Got Talent. Ang finale nito last June 6 ay nakakuha ng 43.8% ratings.

Pagdating naman sa news, mas maraming Pinoy ang nanonood sa TV Patrol World (33.2%) compared sa 24 Oras (22.2%). Last May 10, winner ang TV Patrol World sa national TV ratings. Nakakuha ito ng 31.5% rating at tinaob ang kalabang 24 Oras.

Included rin sa overall weekday and weekend Top 20 ang Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo (34.9%), Maalaala Mo Kaya (34.2%), Rated K (29.2%), Agimat presents Elias Paniki (27.5%), Rubi (27.2%), Sharon (23.7%), Goin Bulilit (23%), Pinoy Big Brother Teen Clash 2010 (Weekday) (19.1%), Pinoy Big Brother Teen Clash 2010 (Saturday) (18.5%) at Kapamilya Sunday Blockbuster (18.3%).

Aside from TV ratings, humakot ng iba�t ibang awards ang ABS-CBN. Hinirang na TV News Station of the Year ang ANC, Radio Station of the Year ang DZMM, at Broadcast Journalist of the Year si Ricky Carandang sa 2010 Rotary Club of Manila (RCM) Journalism Awards.

Ni-recognize rin ng World Economic Forum si Karen Davila bilang isa sa Young Global Leaders ng 2010 habang ang senior reporter naman na si Nina Corpuz ay ginawaran ng Media For Labor Rights Prize ng International Labour Organization (ILO) ng United Nations.
