First, the bad news: "PO5", TV5's Sunday afternoon party will get the axe starting this Sunday, February 27, 2011.
But here's the good news: A more entertaining, fun and exciting gathering of the freshest and brightest teen stars of the Kapatid network and their fans will be made possible through a breakaway new show called "Fantastik".
"Fantastik" is a 1-hour fans-day show every Sunday which will deliver high-quality entertainment featuring TV5's prized talents Alex Gonzaga, Kean Cipriano, Danita Paner and JC de Vera.
Also taking center stage to showcase her talent is newly proclaimed "Star Factor" grand champion Eula Caballero, who managed to deliver a very remarkable acting performance in TV5's three-part Sunday drama series "Luv Crazy" opposite Markki Stroem.
Joining Eula are Morisette Amon, Christian Samson, Ritz Alzul and the rest of Star Factors teen alumnus.
Get ready to a steamy battle of the sexes as alluring young stars Princess Ryan, Diane Medina and Carla Humphries; and Sakto Boys members Rodjun Cruz, Lucky Mercado and Edgar Allan Guzman deliver flame right to your TV screen with their sizzling performances.
Spicing up even more the new TV5 Sunday variety show are Gerald Santos, DJ Mike, Rainier Castillo, Alyana and Anykka Asistio and Gloc9; plus Alwyn Uytingco, Meg Imperial, Empoy Marquez, Martin Escudero and Arci Munoz.
Helmed by Al Quinn and musical direction by Jay Durias, "Fantastik" premieres on February 27, 2p.m. right after "Lucky Numbers".
