David Archuleta is hitting the small screen!The American Idol runner-up will make his acting debut in an episode of iCarly, Nickelodeon confirmed on Wednesday.
According to show executive producer and creator Dan Schneider, "iCarly is all about super-talented teens so David Archuleta is an ideal fit."
The series is centered around a high school student (Miranda Cosgrove), who has her own Web show.
In the episode, Archuleta will play a contestant in a talent competition called "America Sings." Filming will begin on Thursday.
