MARICEL SORIANO is "Florinda"

Diamond Star Maricel Soriano is out to prove that she is still the original Queen of Primetime TV drama in the upcoming third and concluding chapter of Sineserye Presents: The Susan Roces Cinema Collection. Maricel will top-bill Florinda, a teleserye based on the classic film of Ms. Susan Roces.

The last two Sineseryes have brought the hottest comebacks on television. In Patayin Sa Sindak Si Barbara, Kris Aquino made her second teleserye opposite the original Barbara herself, Susan Roces. In Maligno, Claudine Barretto returned to television after settling down and becoming a mother to two children. As the third installment of the Sinesrye, Florinda will pave the way for Maricel to once again showcase her caliber as one of the brightest actresses in the industry.

Patayin Sa Sindak Si Barbara and Maligno also changed the landscape of teleseryes as it brought horror to the primetime block which was mostly dominated by heavy dramas and romantic comedies. Keeping the tradition of fright, followers of Sineserye Presents: The Susan Roces Cinema Collection can expect the concluding part Florinda to be the most hair-raising and heart-thumping experience yet.
