KIMERALD's 'Sana Maulit Muli' a Hit in Taiwan

A Taiwanese television station has begun airing episodes of "Sana Maulit Muli", the hit TV soap that gave birth to the Kim Chiu - Gerald Anderson love team.

Bong Osorio, head of ABS-CBN corporate communications, said that Taiwan Public Television Service Channel 13 bought the rights to "Sana Maulit Muli," which was aired in the Philippines from January 8, 2007 to April 20, 2007.

The show has been dubbed in Taiwanese and renamed "Chances" for the Taiwanese audience. It is being aired in Taiwan Mondays to Fridays at 11 p.m.

Osorio said he hopes the airing of "Sana Maulit Muli" in Taiwan will begin a trend of Filipino-produced series being aired there. He said other TV stations in Taiwan have already expressed interest in acquiring other ABS-CBN titles after the success of "Chances"

Before "Sana Maulit Muli" ABS-CBN sold "Pangako Sa'yo," another drama series to the international market. The show, which stars Jericho Rosales and Kristine Hermosa, has been aired in Southeast Asia and Africa.
