Annabelle Rama Wanted by QC Court, Warrant of Arrest Issued
The Quezon City Regional Trial Court Branch 92 has issued a warrant of arrest for talent manager-actress Annabelle Rama.
The arrest order was issued Monday morning, June 11, by RTC Branch 92 Judge Eleuterio Bathan after Rama again failed to show up at the court hearings of 14 counts of libel filed against her by former actress Nadia Montenegro.
Bathan also recommended a total bail of P140,000 (P10,000 for each count of libel).
Rama reportedly filed a request to suspend today's arraignment because of her pending motion for reconsideration at the city prosecutor that questions her April 12, 2012 partial indictment. Said request was junked by court.
