Ashton Kutcher DMV Lawsuit in California Court Costs $1.44 Million


Two and a Half lead star Ashton Kutcher is suing the California Department of Motor Vehicles for its decision to backed-out at a planned documentary series in 2010 that will feature the day-to-day emotional, humorous, moving and entertaining situations at DMV offices.

In the $1.44-million lawsuit filed on Tuesday, June 19, in Los Angeles Superior Court, Ashton's Katalyst Productions and Soda and Pop, Inc., which spent hundreds of thousands of dollars developing the series, entered into an agreement with DMV in produce at least four half-hour episodes, six seasons, of the show for TruTV but they suddenly became uninterested saying they're no longer considered the project to be in its best interest.
