Kapamilya stars Anne Curtis, Angel Locsin, Vice Ganda and Kris Aquino appeal to their fans to help Sendong victims in Cagayan de Oro have a "Merry Christmas."
Not just that! Kris, Vice, Angel, and Anne also took time out to personally visited and handed out food, water, and toiletries to the residents of typhoon-stricken areas of CDO who mostly have lost everything including their properties, livelihood, homes, and even their loved ones.
Kris said that made sure they seized the chance to help. "It's nice to know that even my househelps joined us in the relief operations. They were up until four in the morning preparing our packed goods," she said.
Vice Ganda, on the other hand, expressed that this is the time for Filipinos to show compassion and to extend a helping hand to each other. He said, "We all know that many were devastated in Cagayan de Oro and Iligan. We have to do something. It would be heartless of us to spend time just shopping while knowing that there are other people in our country suffering."
Angel and Anne further appealed to the public to take part in helping the victims of typhoon Sendong.
"We are not here just to show that we are 'giving.' We want to urge our kababayans to share their blessings especially now that its Christmas time," Angel explained.
Anne, on the other hand, reminded her fans that 'clean potable water' is an urgent necessity of the people in CDO and Iligan.
