Ram Revilla Murder Update: GF Janelle Manahan Gives Testimony on the Murder of Ram Revilla
Janelle Manahan, a lucky survivor in the massacre that killed his boyfriend Ramgen "Ram" Revilla in the latter's home at Phase 6, BF Homes, Paraaque City on October 28, gave her testimonies to police authorities today, at the Asian Hospital sa Alabang, Muntinlupa where she is being treated for 2 gunshots.
According to Chief Superintendent Enrique Sy, head of Task Force Ramgen, Janelle's testimonies contradict to the statements provided by Ram's sister, Maria Ramona Bautista, who is now being eyed as one of the prime suspects together with his other brother Ramon Joseph "RJ" Bautista and 5 other suspects named Michael Cruz Altia, Roy Francis Tolisora, Glaiza Vista, Norwyn Dela Cruz, and a certain Bryan.
"Nakuhanan na rin namin siya [Janelle] ng pahayag, at lalong tumibay ang kaso namin laban kay Ramona." Sy declared.
"Dahil sa nakita niya yung pangyayari - yung pinagbuksan raw niya ng pinto si Ramona tapos maya-maya kasunod yung gunman na naka-maskara,"
Sy added that Janelle asked Ramona to call an ambulance right after the attack but Ramona eventually was nowhere to be found.
"Hiningan niya ng tulong si Ramona sa loob ng kuwarto nila noong may tama na sila ng bala.
"Pagkatapos ng insidente, pinakukuha niya ng ambulansiya at tulong, pero hindi na bumalik si Ramona." Sy said.
Janelle's statements contradict to a previous statement made by Ramona, where she said that the man who killed her brother abducted her and then abandoned her somewhere in Las Pinas after the murder.
Authorities are now concluding that Ramona might have concocted her statement in an attempt to clear her name.
RJ was arrested on November 1 at Ram's wake and has been charged with murder and frustrated murder cases, while Ramona is reportedly now in the custody of his half-brother Sen. Bong Revilla Jr.
Sy said they already asked the Senator to turn over her sister to the authorities for questioning but still not able to get any response.
Sy also revealed that the Revilla siblings had been fighting over the monthly allowance from their father allegedly reaching P1 million but was refuted by Portia Ilagan, Revilla family spokesperson, saying she was not aware of any sibling rivalry among the children of former Senator Ramon Revilla Sr.
