Prot�g� GMA-7: Rosalyn Navarro from Bicol is the First Finalist Eliminated
The Prima Biritera from Naga City sealed her fate into the stage of stardom after being kicked off in the first elimination night of Prot�g�: The Battle for the Big Break.
Prot�g� Rosalyn Navarro and Mentor Imelda Papin became the first mentor-prot�g� tandem to get booted out of the top ten finalists during last Sunday's (October 23) first live elimination night at the SM Mall of Asia Centerstage, after receiving the fewest number of viewer votes. She agonized at the bottom two with Prot�g� Krizza Neri and Mentor Aiza Seguerra.
The remaining 9 mentor-prot�g� tandems who will move on to the next round of gala performances are Jaya-Lovely Embuscado from Davao; Aiza Seguerra-Krizza Neri from Cagayan De Oro; Joey G.-Samantha Felizco from Dagupan; Rey Valera-SO WAT singing group from Pampanga; Claire dela Fuente-Jensen Te�oso from Batangas; Gloc 9-Denise Barbacena from Mega Manila; Jay-R-Kenneth Monico from Cabanatuan; Rachelle Ann Go-Nomer Limatog from Cebu; and Janno Gibbs-Lirah Bermudez from Iloilo.
All nine mentor-prot�g� tandems should double their efforts to improve their performances with the hope of winning not only the approval of the three judges but also the votes of the public to avoid getting the cut in the next elimination round.
Voting begins at the start of the each live gala performance and the results will be revealed on the same night.
