Alaska Earthquake - Video of Earthquake and Tsunami Location in Alaska



Alaska earthquake estimated to be at 7.1 magnitude has hit the Aleutian Islands off Alaska on Friday according to U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).



The USGS said the earthquake struck in the waters at about 6:55 a.m. ET. The quake struck 107 miles southeast of Atka, Alaska, at a depth of 22.1 miles.



A brief tsunami warning was immediately issued for coastal areas of Alaska from Unimak Pass to Amchitka Pass.
