American Idol Season 3 winner Fantasia Barrino is in a middle of a controversy with a case filed against her for destroying a marriage.
Paula Cole filed a divorced against her husband Antwuan Cook saying that her husband had an affair with Fantasia. Mrs Cole described the affair as nasty that Fantasia and Antwuan even "recorded their illicit activity."
Paula has two kids and asks for support on her complaint filed at North Carolina.
Fantasia's manager, however, said through a statement that the singer is "certain that she is not responsible for the deterioration of the Cook's marriage�Fantasia will weather this storm with the dignity and grace that she has exemplified throughout a life in which she has repeatedly overcome obstacles and challenges. Fantasia�s faith in God, herself and family remain as strong as ever."
But just hours after details of a lawsuit filed against her, Fantasia, according to reports committed suicide by a drug overdose and is now confimed in a hospital in North Carolina.
But her manager said Fantasia overdosed on a combination of "aspirin and sleep aid," and that her condition was not life threatening.
