While Sandara Park continues to conquer the entertainment scene in Korea as part of hot girl group 2NE1, her younger brother Park Sang Hyun (now known as Cheon Dung or "Thunder") has launched his own singing career as part of the newest Korean all-male group MBLAQ (pronounced as M Black), which stands for Music Boys Live Absolute Quality. A lot of fans have already taken interest in Sang Hyun who was first seen in an online video jamming with 16-year-old singer I.U. a few months back. Amateur videos of their acoustic duets have been circulating the net before word got out that he would be replacing one of the original members of MBLAQ.
Though this is his first venture into the entertainment industry, Sang Hyun has been training for a while under the Loen talent agency (the same one who handles I.U.) before he recently transferred to J. Tune Entertainment—a company owned by no less than the ultimate Korean heartthrob, Rain. Aside from being the producer, the latter also took charge of MBLAQ’s dance choreography in the music video of the carrier single of their mini-album, “Oh Yeah” which has already earned lots of praise when it was released just last October 13. Rain is reportedly very proud of his first batch of talents and is confident that they would make it in the biz especially after their well-received debut performance as guests in his recently-concluded concert in Seoul.
