On Saturday, GMA-7 will premiere its new talent program titled "Bitoy's Showwwtime" hosted by Michael V. itself.
Bitoy’s Showwwtime will feature various talents of Filipinos not just in the Philippines but all over the world. Michael V. will play the role of a futuristic emperor searching for wild, wacky and world class Pinoy talents in the four corners of the globe.
Bitoy’s Showwwtime will have four segments such as:
Talbugan: A live showdown of wacky or weird acts.
Videokariran: A competition of international videos that were uploaded on www.bitoystv.com featuring traditional talents such as singing, dancing, magic acts, etc. and sensational talents like fire eating, acrobats, etc.
Facemuk: This segment features funny, produced skits on video, also uploaded on www.bitoystv.com. The winner of this segment will receive a brand new Canon video camera.
Gaya Mo ‘Yun?: Imitation videos of a popular pop star or music act similar to what Moymoy Palaboy are doing.
This might be GMA-7's answer to TV5's "Talentadong Pinoy" which is raking bigtime at the ratings. And to preempt the ABS-CBN's upcoming talent show "Pilipinas Got Talent".
Incidentally, ABS-CBN is also coming up with a reality-talent show also titled "Showtime" to be hosted by Vhong Navarro and Anne Curtis.
