The high-rating Saturday fantasy-drama anthology, �Wansapanataym,� offers its viewers the fresh tandem of Cristine Reyes and Luis Manzano as they team up in Ruben Marcelino�s �Kokak.�
Christine will portray Kara, a beautiful lady who lives in the forest. Trapped in a curse - she turns into a frog every time she bleeds - Kara will cross paths with a man (Luis) who will fall in love with her.
Christine, who is known for her sexy and daring roles, is happy to be part of the fantasy show.
�Ito po ang first �Wansapanataym� episode ko kaya masayang-masaya po ako. Kakaiba rin kasi �yong karakter ko dito, may hiwaga talaga (laughs),� she said.
Christine is also excited to be paired with Luis. She said they�re having fun on the set of �Wansapanataym.�
�Naku, tawa lang ako ng tawa kay Luis. Masaya kasi siyang kasama sa set,� she said.
"Kokak" is a 1989 hit film that starred Rachel Lobangco, Gabby Concepcion, Rita Avila and Cesar Montano.
The remake will hit the small screen on October 30 on ABS-CBN after �TV Patrol Sabado.�
